Overview

Kevin Seitz wants a website for his real estates listing only. And he wants the website to looks modern and more masculine.

So in Figma, I design the elements using sharp border (no radius) and bolder drop shadow.

Then later in WordPress using Elementor and custom post type for property listing and custom field for the property’s details.

I created it in less than 2 weeks including the design, revisions and build the website with page builder, I don’t responsible for server, performance, SEO or other technical stuff (e.g. https) of the website.

Problems

He wants the website to have dedicated list for his real estate listing, so the website must be easy for user to navigate and see the listing.

Goals

The website design is modern and more masculine.

The website should have a dedicated post just for real estate / property listing.

Process

I design most of the elements using sharp border and bolder drop shadow. And I use color palette from his current logo.

I use flat design for CTA button and bold drop shadow to make it more pop to the eyes.

To gives modern looks and soften the design, I use gradient box as backdrop on some images.

For property listing I use custom post type and custom field for property details

Since Elementor default post loops is different than the design, I use Custom Ele Skin to match the design’s draft
